I saw this movie sixty years ago and found it stunning.

Galland was my great great uncle and there isn't much I know about him as a person. Nice to hear his voice and listen to his experiences, as I never met him myself.

What a talent, always gives a solid performance. And so attractive.

I remember as a kid in the early 1970's meeting my great-aunt's father, he fought in this war...he was born in 1880,...and i met a WW-1 vet around 1973, born late 1890's.....pretty cool looking back.

I used to know a Span Am vet when I was young and conversed with a lot of old WWI vets in my youth. All gone.

One Eyed Jacks is a great western, beautiful western, and a lot of people missed it. Malden and Brando are both epic actors and One Eyed Jacks is among the best performances either have done. They worked well together too. The rest of the players delivered their best as well. Among my top five westerns.
